“Being at the Forefront of Innovation in the 4th Phase of Industry”

“It wouldn’t be wrong to say that I opened my eyes to life in the marketplace.” My apprenticeship began at my eldest uncle’s haberdashery in the bazaar and continued in my late father’s grocery and later in his confectionery shop, even throughout my university years.

In the 1950s and 60s, being a tradesman was built on ethics, manners, and high morals, where young and old lived together in the spirit of Ahi Evran. A word was a bond, trust was sacred, and the fear of injustice in measurement and weighing could be felt down to the fingertips. The sign on our shop read, “Kanaat Grocery.”

Following university, I took on significant roles in public institutions, the private sector, and civil society organizations. However, the entrepreneurial spirit and the atmosphere I experienced among tradesmen in my childhood always pulled me back.

The aspiration to establish an environment where future generations can develop themselves through technology while upholding fundamental values has brought us to this day.

We have transitioned from the mechanical production processes powered by steam and water during the First Industrial Revolution to today’s Industry 4.0 era, where its impact will be felt even more profoundly. In this environment, we are being drawn into the fourth phase of the industry—where physical structures are controlled by AI-driven computer-based algorithms, where machines, objects, and systems communicate and integrate, where human intervention in processes is minimized, and where quality, flexibility, and efficiency in production are enhanced—leading to the development of new business models and more competitive markets.

Built upon the experience gained from developing wind turbine technology and its unique software, ViraVist now serves as a solution partner at every stage of the mining industry’s digital transformation.

In this environment, we are here to cultivate a future where young, talented individuals—rooted in strong values and a deep sense of purpose—can develop themselves, discover and apply the newest technologies ahead of others, and create a space where all stakeholders find both material and spiritual fulfillment.

Thus, as a reflection of the entrepreneurial spirit I embraced in my childhood, ViraVist will continue to move forward, hand in hand with bold, self-confident, and visionary generations, striving to exist from one generation to the next, forever.
